Fantasy football Week 3 inactives: Who’s in and who’s out?

Whom should you start? Whom should you sit? To help you set your fantasy football lineups and avoid starting an offensive player who won’t be in the lineup, we’ll post fantasy-relevant updates and analysis here as NFL teams release their official inactives lists. Any rankings cited in this column come from our ESPN Fantasy staff ranks.

Official Sunday inactives should begin coming in approximately 90 minutes before the scheduled kickoff times: around 11:30 a.m. ET for the early games and 2:30 p.m. ET for the late-afternoon games.

Refresh often for the latest information.

1 p.m. ET games

Keenan Allen, WR, CHI: Heel — OUT
Impact: Rome Odunze (knee) is not on the injury report, so he and DJ Moore should both see a lot of targets.

Travis Homer, RB, CHI: Finger — OUT/IR
Impact: Khalil Herbert backs up D’Andre Swift with Roschon Johnson now in the mix.

David Njoku, TE, CLE: Ankle — OUT
Impact: Jordan Akins will step in as starter, but the Browns probably will avoid the TE position in their game plan.

Pierre Strong Jr., RB, CLE: Hamstring — OUT
Impact: D’Onta Foreman will, at a minimum, get all of the backup RB workload behind Jerome Ford.

Jordan Love, QB, GB: Knee — Questionable
Impact: The lack of clarity coming out of Green Bay seems to point to another week of Malik Willis.

Joe Mixon, RB, HOU: Ankle — OUT
Impact: Cam Akers will start for the Texans …

Dameon Pierce, RB, HOU: Hamstring — OUT
Impact: … with Dare Ogunbowale getting some passing-down looks.

Michael Pittman Jr., WR, IND: Back — Questionable
Impact: Although he didn’t practice Friday, reports are that he will be able to suit up Sunday.

Justin Herbert, QB, LAC: Ankle — Questionable
Impact: He’s a game-time call, but nobody will be surprised to see either Taylor Heinicke or Easton Stick under center.

Joshua Palmer, WR, LAC: Elbow — Questionable
Impact: No practice all week? Shaky QB situation? Go someplace else.

Jordan Addison, WR, MIN: Ankle — OUT
Impact: Justin Jefferson (quad) is fine. Jalen Nailor is the locked-in WR2 for the Vikings.

A.J. Brown, WR, PHI: Hamstring — OUT
Impact: This leaves DeVonta Smith and … maybe Britain Covey as the top WR options for the Eagles.

Russell Wilson, QB, PIT: Calf — Questionable
Impact: There’s no reason to expect anyone other than Justin Fields as QB1 and Wilson as emergency QB3, even as Wilson says he’s getting closer.

MyCole Pruitt, TE, PIT: Knee — OUT
Impact: Maybe this impacts RB Najee Harris?

Tyjae Spears, RB, TEN: Ankle — Questionable
Impact: Expected to play. Could well start to eat into Tony Pollard’s workload.

Graham Gano, K, NYG: Hamstring — OUT
Impact: Greg Joseph and Jude McAtamney were competing this week to see who would take over kicking duties.

Taysom Hill, TE, NO: Chest — Doubtful
Impact: He practiced some this week, and while Hill often plays through injuries, it’s looking more likely that we’ll see Foster Moreau with an uptick in usage.

4 p.m. ET games

Greg Dortch, WR, ARI: Hamstring — Questionable
Impact: He was a late-week add to the injury report, but is expected to play. If he can’t go, Michael Wilson and Xavier Weaver are well behind Marvin Harrison Jr. on the WR target tree.

John Stephens Jr., TE, DAL: Hamstring — Questionable
Impact: Meanwhile, Jake Ferguson was removed from the injury report and will handle the TE1 duties for Dallas.

Isaiah Williams, WR, DET: Abdomen — Questionable
Impact: Amon-Ra St. Brown (quad) looks to be good to go, so Williams is a nonfactor.

Davis Allen, TE, LAR: Back — OUT
Impact: Colby Parkinson has even less competition for passing targets in this depleted Rams offense.

Joshua Karty, K, LAR: Groin — Questionable
Impact: Who isn’t hurt on the Rams? Tanner Brown would kick if Karty can’t.

Cooper Kupp, WR, LAR: Ankle — OUT
Impact: Kupp avoided joining Puka Nacua on IR, but he’s not likely to play for a few more weeks. Demarcus Robinson leads a motley crew of WR options.

Raheem Mostert, RB, MIA: Chest — Doubtful
Impact: Jeff Wilson Jr. might get a few looks behind lead back De’Von Achane.

Malik Washington, WR, MIA: Quad — Doubtful
Impact: Braxton Berrios gets at least one more week of action as Miami’s WR3.

Kenneth Walker III, RB, SEA: Oblique — Doubtful
Impact: It’s Zach Charbonnet, all the way.

Pharaoh Brown, TE, SEA: Foot — Questionable
Impact: Noah Fant (toe) also is not at 100%, but he likely will be the top TE option.

Deebo Samuel Sr. , WR, SF: Calf — OUT
Impact: Jauan Jennings will get the start to complement Brandon Aiyuk.

George Kittle , TE, SF: Hamstring — OUT
Impact: Eric Saubert will replace him in the huddle, but he shouldn’t be anywhere near your fantasy lineups.

Sunday night game

Isiah Pacheco, RB, KC: Leg — OUT/IR
Impact: Keaontay Ingram was elevated from the practice squad. Carson Steele and Samaje Perine are likely to split touches. Newly signed Kareem Hunt is not ready.
