The summer transfer window won’t reopen in Europe for another month, but there are plenty of moves in the works and gossip swirling around. Transfer Talk brings you all the latest buzz on rumours, comings, goings and, of course, done deals!
Ederson could leave Manchester City during the summer transfer window if he receives a good proposal, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The goalkeeper is already receiving interest from Saudi Pro League clubs and will consider his options when Man City’s season has ended after Saturday’s FA Cup final against Manchester United. The final decision on the 30-year-old’s future will be his, potentially bringing his stay at the Etihad to an end after he first moved from Benfica in the summer of 2017.
That isn’t the only possible departure of a Man City goalkeeper this summer, with Florian Plettenberg reporting that Stefan Ortega will depart if a contract renewal isn’t agreed in the coming weeks.
The 31-year-old would like to stay with the Premier League champions but talks about a new contract that would last until 2026 have significantly stalled. There is no agreement yet, especially on the financial aspects of the deal, while Ortega also wants to be a first-choice goalkeeper in the future — whether that is for the Citizens or another club.
Ederson took part in 43 matches across all competitions this season, keeping 16 clean sheets, while Ortega has played 19 times and kept eight clean sheets.

– Paris Saint-Germain are keen to sign Napoli duo Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Victor Osimhen, reports Corriere dello Sport, which adds that Les Parisiens are not put off by Napoli’s high demands. Foot Mercato has linked the Ligue 1 champions with another pair, stating that they are doing everything to sign Lille centre-back Leny Yoro and want his teammate Lucas Chevalier to offer competition for goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
– Barcelona are keen to sign RB Leipzig attacking midfielder Dani Olmo but will need to complete deal by July 15 if they are to trigger his €60 million release clause, reports Marca, which adds that the Blaugrana are racing to find the funds in time. Even so, the 26-year-old is reportedly calm about the situation as he has also received interest from Premier League clubs Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool.
– Juventus have Domenico Berardi in their sights with the 29-year-old winger expected to leave Sassuolo following the club’s relegation to Serie B, according to Tuttosport. The Bianconeri are also interested in Nice centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo, with move for the 24-year-old expected to be simpler to complete than one for Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori.
– Napoli want to sign Albert Gudmundsson and are not put off by Genoa’s €30m valuation of the forward, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport, which adds that they will move quickly in an effort to capitalise on any financial uncertainty for Internazionale and beat them to the signing. Napoli wanted to include Leo Skiri Østigård in a player-swap, but Genoa are looking for a strictly cash deal.
– AC Milan are looking at Torino star Alessandro Buongiorno and VfL Wolfsburg’s Maxence Lacroix as they aim to strengthen at centre-back following the departure of Simon Kjaer, reports Calciomercato. Buongiorno is the priority, but the 24-year-old would be expensive, while Lacroix will be cheaper as there is only a year left on his contract.
